When Joe Manchin Will Kill the Filibuster

Sen. Manchin sounds like the voice of reason: “While I am hopeful that common ground can

be found ..., I cannot — and will not — support trillions in spending or an all or nothing approach that ignores the brutal fiscal reality our nation faces.” But Joe's just keeping his powder dry. When his “voting rights” bill reaches the Senate floor, he will blow up the filibuster and jam the Freedom to Vote Act down our throats.
