There is only one bright spot for the moment: perhaps the Chinese, Russians, North Koreas,

and Iranians see us as so crazy, weird, and self-loathing that they have no idea what our best and brightest nihilists might do. And for now, they all are trying to determine the relative deterrence of a nuclear-armed, wacky social-justice nation led by a president who, by any legitimate past measure, is not really president at all.
