We’ve seen this Democrat playbook before – first in the Joe Biden-led character assassination of then-Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas, then with the fabulist
charges of rape against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the false and defamatory claims against conservative Alabama Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore, and now with the stream of Democrat-inspired fantasies released to undermine the Georgia Senate campaign of conservative Republican Herschel Walker.
Strangely, these charges related to incidents that allegedly occurred years ago only surface when the conservative is leading or about to be confirmed.
And such is the case with claims that Herschel Walker paid for the abortions of alleged girlfriends from long ago – all of which have suddenly surfaced as Walker pulls ahead in his campaign to defeat Far-Left Democrat incumbent Raphael Warnock.
Ben Whedon, writing for Just the News, reports Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker has reclaimed the lead in his electoral contest with Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock, after he bested Warnock in the campaign’s public debate, and even after bombshell allegations that he paid for a woman to have an abortion.
In the debate Walker hammered Warnock for supporting Democratic policies and President Joe Biden, while effectively laying the blame for inflation and economic woes at the feet of the Democrats.
“He went to Washington to represent Joe Biden,” Walker said of Warnock. "That's the reason we’re in the mess we’re in today, because he represents Joe Biden and not the truth for Georgia.”
Walker was the underdog headed into the night’s debate, lagging in fundraising, polling and facing yet another round of negative headlines after The Daily Beast (the source of the phony Trump – Russia collusion charges) reported anti-abortion candidate Walker allegedly paid an ex-girlfriend to have an abortion in 2009, unsuccessfully tried to get her to have a second one, and threatened to kill his ex-wife and son.
Walker denies the claims, which have not been independently verified by any source.
Oddly enough, the fantastic abortion allegations only surfaced after an InsiderAdvantage/FOX 5 Atlanta poll released in September suggested Walker had taken the lead in the Georgia race, one of the most closely watched Senate races in the nation, with the football legend receiving 47% support from voters in the Peach State over Warnock’s 44% support.
In the latest Daily Wire/Trafalgar Group poll, Walker emerged 2.4 points ahead of Warnock among likely voters, 48.9% to 46.5%. A further 4.6% backed libertarian Chase Oliver. That lead remains within the survey’s +/- 2.9% margin of error, meaning the race is still a statistical tie.
So, lo and behold, another abortion allegation against Walker surfaces, again without any independent verification.
The Daily Wire/Trafalgar Group poll showed the Georgia Governor’s race looking like a solid Republican victory, with incumbent GOP Gov. Brian Kemp holding a 6.9% lead over Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams, 52.2% to 45.3%. So, the purpose of these fabulist claims against Walker is obviously to suppress the conservative vote for Herschel Walker, since it is unlikely voters will split their tickets and vote for conservative Governor Kemp and Far Left Senator Warnock.
We’ve seen this Democrat playbook before, don’t let it keep a solid conservative vote out of the United States Senate. We urge Georgia conservatives to vote for Herschel Walker.
