President Joe Biden's miscreant son Hunter Biden has been indicted by special counsel David Weiss on felony gun charges.
ABC News reported the younger Biden has been charged with two counts related to false statements in purchasing the firearm and a third count on illegally obtaining a firearm while addicted to drugs. The three charges carry a maximum prison sentence of 25 years, when added together.

The indictment on the gun charges came after sweetheart plea agreement the two sides struck in June, which would have allowed him to plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax offenses and enter into a pretrial diversion program to avoid prosecution on a felony gun charge fell apart under scrutiny from the judge and outside investigators.
That deal fell apart during a court hearing in July after U.S. Judge Maryellen Noreika expressed concern over the structure of the agreement and questioned the breadth of an immunity deal, exposing fissures between the two parties.
Weeks later, on Aug. 11, Attorney General Merrick Garland elevated Weiss, who was originally appointed by then-President Donald Trump, to special counsel, granting him broader authority to press charges against Hunter Biden in any district in the country.
Prosecutors subsequently informed the court that a new round of negotiations had reached "an impasse," and attorneys for Hunter Biden accused Weiss' office of "reneging" on their agreement, ABC reported.
And Hunter’s highly paid legal team isn’t done trying to worm him out of charges that have many others, particularly African Americans, to jail.
According to prosecutors, Biden obtained a Colt Cobra 38SPL revolver and lied on a federal form about his drug use. In documents filed by prosecutors as part of that ill-fated plea deal, prosecutors wrote that Hunter Biden abused crack cocaine on a near-daily basis.
The conduct described in Weiss' indictment dates back to October of 2018, when Hunter Biden procured a gun despite later acknowledging in his memoir, "Beautiful Things," that he was addicted to drugs around that time.
According to ABC, Hunter Biden's legal team maintains that the pretrial diversion agreement, which was signed by prosecutors, remains in effect. Weiss' team said the probation officer never signed it, rendering it null and void.
Those who have been following the saga of Hunter Biden’s charmed passage through America’s two-tiered legal system remain skeptical that special counsel David Weiss, Joe Biden’s handpicked choice for the job, doesn’t have another sweetheart deal in mind for Hunter.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer warned Wednesday that if Hunter Biden is indicted on gun charges it will not only be “least of all the crimes” the first son has been accused of — but also a sign that special counsel David Weiss may be trying to “sneak something through.”
“This is the least of all the crimes that Hunter Biden has committed,” Comer said of possible felony gun charges being brought against Hunter.
Chairman Comer cited Weiss’ previous attempt at negotiating an ill-fated plea deal with Biden’s attorneys that would have allowed the 53-year-old son of President Biden to avoid jail time as a reason to view any future indictment against Hunter with skepticism.
“They already tried to sneak something through once. We need to make sure that they don’t do it again,” Comer told radio talk show hosts John Catsimatidis and Rita Crosby during an appearance on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats & Cosby Show” Wednesday that was reported by Victor Nava of the New York Post.
Chairman Comer is right, Weiss has a long way to go to prove this isn’t a ploy to moot other charges, such as dozens of charges for failure to register as a foreign agent that could send Hunter Biden away for a hundred years, bribery and corruption charges related to Joe Biden’s time as Vice President, and other gun charges.
With regard to the other gun charges Hunter Biden has been pictured (nude) with a semiautomatic pistol that has never been accounted for, leaving a strong possibility that it was obtained illegally.
We think Chairman Comer was definitely on to something when he observed that “ironically that’s the one crime that he committed that you cannot tie Joe Biden into,” and urged Weiss to now bring indictments “for money laundering, violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act [FARA], tax evasion, the list goes on and on.”
Comer added that the case would “absolutely not” cause House Republicans to change course on their impeachment inquiry. That’s good news, but in the meantime, the statute of limitations on Hunter Biden’s myriad of other crimes continues to run out and Biden’s legal team continues to pursue ways to bury or seal the evidence necessary to prove them.
