There was no joy in the SOTU at all. It was a terrible speech. Biden wasted 20 minutes

dawdling and exchanging pleasantries, mostly with members of the Congressional Black Caucus. Republicans had fled as soon as it was over. But as Rep. Byron Donalds said, this was (likely) the second-to-last State of the Union address Biden will give. This assumes he isn’t reelected, and perhaps that’s an assumption Donalds is overconfident in making.
