The Inflation Election of 2022

President Joe Biden and the Democrats own the inflation problem, and not just because they

have enthusiastically supported one debt-fueled spending binge after another. Mr. Biden has chosen to reappoint the same Fed chairman, Jerome Powell, who has presided over the inflation surge since the start of the Biden presidency. If inflation continues to rage (8.5 percent in March), the president has no one he can plausibly blame but himself.
