Turning Point USA, led by our friend Charlie Kirk, has announced a rally in Arizona to support
President Trump and protect the vote.
The rally will be Friday, November 6th at 10:00 AM, at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center, 510 South Third Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85003.
In a tweet announcing the rally Mr. Kirk said:
ARIZONA: Your vote for @realDonaldTrump MATTERS and Democrats want to steal this election from you!
Show up Friday, November 6th at 10:00 AM to protect YOUR vote and help swing Arizona back to President Trump. Show up, fight back, HOLD THE LINE!!
In addition to the Turning Point USA rally Arizona conservatives are also taking other steps to secure President Trump’s victory in Arizona.
Our friend Rachel Alexander, Editor of Intellectual Conservative, tweeted instructions on how Arizona conservatives who were victims of “Sharpiegate” can find out if their vote was counted:
If you're in Maricopa County and worried that your ballot was not counted because of sharpies or other reasons, please verify that it was online here - https://recorder.maricopa.gov/beballotready/default.aspx
The reason Arizona has become a flashpoint in the effort to finalize the 2020 election results is because of the early and erroneous “calls” by Fox News and ABC that Joe Biden won Arizona.
As Steven Nelson of the New York Post explained, an error in data used by a consortium of major news outlets wrongly said Wednesday that 98 percent of ballots had been counted in Arizona, despite the fact that an estimated 14 percent or more remained to be tallied.
The incorrect figure distributed by Edison Research to TV outlets, news wire Reuters and print outlets made President Trump’s fate seem sealed in the state.
Mr. Nelson reports the error in data circulated by Edison Research was pointed out by New York Times breaking news editor Patrick LaForge on Twitter.
Corrected data from Edison estimates that 14 percent of Arizona ballots still need to be counted. The AP’s independent data indicates 16 percent of votes are outstanding. Edison data is used by the National Election Pool of TV outlets including ABC News, CBS News, CNN and NBC News.
President Trump’s campaign maintains that when all the legal votes are counted it will win the state by 30,000 votes.
In a defiant morning call with reporters, Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien insisted that in Arizona, “based on the math that we have been seeing as these late-arriving ballots are counted, anywhere from two-thirds to 70 percent of these votes are coming to the president, that math adds up to a margin of around 30,000 in the president’s favor.”
In Arizona, “we know that a final batch of mail-in ballots is being counted. We know that these ballots are counted sequentially, meaning that late-arriving votes or ballots cast closest to Election Day are the ones being counted now. We know and expect that about a half-million votes are left to be counted,” he said.
“And based on the math that we have been seeing as these late-arriving ballots are counted, anywhere from two-thirds to 70 percent of these votes are coming to the president, that math adds up to a margin of around 30,000 in the president’s favor [in Arizona].”
Stepien said Trump likely will win Georgia and Pennsylvania, where he’s currently ahead, but also Arizona, Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin, where he’s trailing Biden.
